image
A new stop of the roadmap to Print4All 2025 was made on Monday 3 February, at the Italian Embassy in Algiers, in collaboration with ITA - Italian Trade Agency, the Agency for promoting Italian companies abroad and supporting their internationalisation.

Luca Colombo, Exhibition Manager of Print4All, and Enrico Barboglio, Director of ARGI and ACIMGA, presented the exhibition to a selected audience of over sixty Algerian companies from the printing and converting sector, who confirmed and acknowledged the high quality of Italian products.

Algeria is a market with high growth potential for Italian exports in the sector, with a market share exceeding 15%. Italy ranks third in the ranking of supplier countries to the Algerian market, behind China (25.7% share), with an export value last year of 24.1 million euros (equal to 20.8%).

According to ExportPlanning forecasts, in the 2025-2028 scenario, Italian exports to the Algerian market of machines in the graphic-papermaking sector are expected to grow at an average annual rate (CAGR) of +1.5% in euro values (reaching 25.5 million euros at the end of the period).

In fact, Italian exports to the Algerian market are significant with particular reference to the printing machinery sector (13.7 million euros estimated for 2024) and, to a lesser extent, in the converting machinery sector (8.9 million euros).

In the 2025-2028 scenario, Italian exports of machinery for the graphic, paper and converting industry to the Algerian market are expected to receive the most positive contributions from sales of converting machinery (+740 thousand euros, equal to an average annual growth of +2% in euro values) and printing machinery (+610 thousand euros, equal to a CAGR of +1.1%).
