Aefi and Prometeia carried out an impact analysis on a sample of more than 25 thousand exhibiting companies (responsible for 13% of national production) compared with a panel of similar companies not participating in trade fairs. The study showed the advantage gained by companies that took part in trade fairs between 2012 and 2019: +12.6 in the growth of cumulative sales and +0.7 in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (Ebitda) compared to non-participants. A competitive advantage that is ensured by taking part in trade fairs with one's own space, which allows companies to present new products and services to a wide audience of visitors, to meet customers, prospects and possible new partners in person, to have a return in terms of branding, and not least to have the possibility of generating leads and facilitating possible sales. In addition, initiatives such as the Innovation Alliance allow to establish a synergistic connection between trade fair events pertaining to the same industry, with the goal of completing even more the number of business opportunities for the visitor.
And there is more. The benefits of joining trade fairs go beyond the activities that are carried out during the days of the event itself. Exhibiting companies can take advantage of the opportunities of an increasingly targeted communication based on omnichannel strategies that are employed by trade fair organisations to give resonance to the event, but also to the development strategies and products of individual exhibitors. In addition, virtual showcases such as My Matching are designed to facilitate relations between companies before, during and after the event. Booking spaces in early bird mode allows to access these promotional opportunities in advance, as well as to benefit from preferential rates. The early bird offer for Print4All expires on 31 December!
