Print4All is approaching fast, and the converting industry is buzzing. We asked some of the key figures in the sector to tell us how they are preparing to participate in next year's event.

The anticipation for Print4All 2025 is palpable, as shown by statements from OMET, RE SpA, and BST Eltromat Italia, some of the leading companies in the sector that will join us at the trade show next year.

“The Print4All exhibition is an important event for us,” explains Marco Calcagni, Sales & Marketing Director of OMET. "Participating as exhibitors gives us the opportunity to strengthen our leadership in the printing technology sector for labels and flexible packaging. With over 60 years of experience, we are a point of reference in the design and production of flexographic printing machines that can integrate various printing technologies such as offset, gravure, screen printing, and digital inkjet. Additionally, we offer inline finishing and converting solutions that can be customised to meet each client’s specific needs.” Calcagni goes on to emphasise the importance of the event, adding: “Participating in international trade fairs is crucial for OMET, as we export around 85% of our machines abroad. Print4All is a unique platform for reinforcing our global presence and for meeting new partners and clients. The 2022 edition saw a growing international interest, and we are convinced that the 2025 edition will exceed all expectations.”

A key focus for OMET is the wide range of solutions it offers to printing companies: “In our stand, we will present an Innovation Gallery, an interactive area that showcases how our technological solutions can be combined and optimised to meet complex needs. From label and flexible packaging printing to light cardboard and special applications, we aim to demonstrate the versatility of our customisable configurations and our commitment to providing tailored solutions for every client.”  Calcagni also highlights an important detail for visitors to the exhibition: “The proximity of the fair to our headquarters and our Innovation Park in Molteno (LC) will also offer visitors, especially those from abroad, the opportunity to visit our facilities. They will be able to observe the production of our machines up close and attend live printing demonstrations on full production lines. This is a great opportunity to see our technologies in action and appreciate our production process.”

Stefano Mercante, Marketing Manager of RE SpA, comments on what he believes will be the upcoming trends: “For RE, participating in Print4All is essential because it’s an important event in the printing field that allows us to meet existing clients but also create new contacts with those unfamiliar with our company. Over the past two years, the company has been focusing strongly on the development of guide rail systems and video print inspection systems, which are two key products for the printing and converting sectors that we are heavily investing in for further development. We recently launched a new product, the new ReVision NET camera, which has been extremely well received and will undoubtedly also prove to be a highlight of Print4All 2025, with further improvements.”

The converting and labelling sectors are key drivers for us. We are investing heavily in these sectors because they are growing, vibrant, and offer considerable potential for improvement and evolution. At this specific point in time, they are markets on which the company is focusing, essential for ensuring our continued growth.  In terms of trends and innovations looking towards 2025, there is undoubtedly a continued move towards customised solutions tailored to clients' specific needs and increasingly unique processes.  Maximising efficiency in work processes and continuously seeking solutions that reduce waste, both in terms of energy and materials, are goals that will persist in the future.”

BST Eltromat Italia is looking ahead to next year with similar expectations, driven by innovations in solutions that optimise the processing of flexible packaging, as explained by Sales & Marketing Manager Roberto Maiocchi:  “In a market context characterised by uncertainty and fluctuations, BST Eltromat Italia stands out for its steady growth, demonstrating the resilience and effectiveness of its range of innovative automation and quality control solutions for the flexible packaging industry.  With products that cover the entire production chain, from raw materials to the packaging of the final product, the company continues to support its clients in optimising their flexible packaging production processes. Despite the challenges of 2024, marked by a downturn in the machinery manufacturing market, BST Eltromat Italia expects to close the year with a slight growth. This result is driven by increasing demand from printers and converters, eager to optimise their production lines. 2024 will conclude with BST’s commitment to ongoing innovation, by making its production processes increasingly safe and sustainable. With this as its aim, the company confirms its participation in the next Print4All fair at Fiera Milano. Visitors to its stand will be able to discover the entire range of BST solutions, including, of course, Tubescan and IPQ Surface, as well as the Work Flow digital platform and SMART DATA collection, innovations that will be the focus of dedicated demonstrations.  By participating in this important event, BST aims to further strengthen its dialogue with clients and showcase the potential of its cutting-edge solutions, which not only aim to improve quality and efficiency but also to promote greater sustainability in the industry.”
